I have to say I have always loved to add colour to my stamping and this card is no exception but the dimension is also what makes this POP.
Started by stamping my image on watercolor paper with black archival ink so that I could cut and color different areas for layering.
When coloring I used a combination or distress stains(metallic) and markers along with a watercolor brush to move and blend.
Each layer had a different piece cut to create this final dimensional look using black pop dots. On the final layer rock candy stickles and glossy accents were applied.
A piece of kraft resist was inked with various distress ink colors and then was embossed with the rays texture fade twice(so rays are going away from each other). I also rubbed a bit of the rock candy stickles in the embossed rays because lets just face it, I am addicted to them. To finish off the card a piece of crinkle ribbon was dyed with distress stains and a trinket pin added.
So, a pretty simple card with a lot of POP! I hope you all have a great weekend and hopefully get to do some creating of your own! h
